The pretty Tapsie Tap-Dancing Doll from Mattel came complete with a cassette tape of Paula Abdul-esque sounding music. When you set Tapsie Doll down on a hard surface and rocked her back and forth by holding her hands she "tapped" on your table, floor, or counter. Tapsie was released in 1990 and through the clever use of mechanics batteries weren't required in order to make the little dancer move.
