Yo-Yo Ball

The Yo-Yo Ball (otherwise known as Yo-Ball) was patented in the USA in the early 1980s and really it's similar to a Yo-Yo. But as the toy moves down, it winds up a light spring. Then as the toy travels up the string, the spring winds the string up again. There are two versions that I know of, the Cheeky Chimp and the Flying Bird, which were made by Alps Toys in the 1980s.
