  • Lite Brite

Who didn't have a Lite Brite? Plug the transparent coloured pegs into the black board and light it up. Introduced by Milton Bradley (owned by Hasbro) in 1967 Lite-Brite allowed you to make a glowing picture by putting coloured translucent pegs through opaque black paper. Lite Brite often included pre-marked black sheets of paper that you could follow instead of making your own designs. The commercial went: "Lite-Brite, Light-Bright Turn on the magic of coloured light Lite-Brite, Light-Brite Make a face to glow at night"
