Re: heavy metal
First got into metal in 79, when I was 12. motorhead, judas priest, black sabbath, et-al. Then in 80-81 along came a band called iron maiden and well, I've been into them for 26 odd years. yep, another old rocker LOL. Though recently, I must have matured somewhat ( turned 40) bought the kaiser chiefs album.....................oops! Worzel.

..or maybe that was just my boyfriend.
Can you clarify something for me?
The patched denim jacket was also the sleeveless gilet-style thing worn over the heavily Patchoulied Leather, right?
Hmm...I thought Dio,Whitesnake and Megadeth were pretty rockin' back in the day.
Steve Vai too, even if he was a bit of a show-off.

They did the song for the third A Nightmare on Elm Street movie. Great stuff.
Black Sabbath are the best though.
I'm still rocking to this day, but the bands are a lot heavier and faster!

Used to fancy the drummer from Girlschool her name escapes me now......But loved them, were they heavy metal though, and what about Status Quo, my mate Scully liked them I called him a patch rocker, patches all over the necessary denim jacket.
