what about these games

i was wondering if anybody also remembers the horse racing game GAMBLER and the strategy game called CONQUEST by denis fisher ....i have fond memories of these two and recently bought them both on e-bay as my dad gave the originals away to my younger cousins along with all my action men and tonkas and my beloved evil kneivil...so i am in process of buying all these memories back.....i love e-bay....

Vaguely recall Conquest, though it seemed dare i say boring, preferred HeroQuest.
