Re: Fave Board Games From olden days of yaw
I loved Escape From Colditz.
I am sure that there was another game called 'Escape From Colditz Castle' which was different.
Any ideas.

Neither could I, funny that, nobody seems to remember any of the things I remember having, maybe I'm living in some parallel universe of something.

Just saw that in the shops yesterday, was horrified to see that they've replaced the marbles with little plastic balls now.Originally posted by bumblelady View Postkerplunk was a great one, my kids think the more balls you get the more points,

I remember whatever the game was that I had, I got for Christmas 1984. A good Christmas that, I'm pretty sure it snowed for that one too.

That does sound like a different game, the balls were solid hard white balls if i remember correctly. Bloody hell ive just gone back to what must be christmas 1977 or 1978 and getting super striker

Hmmm.......none of those look like what I had, my field was a lot bigger than that. I must have had something completely different.
Another thing, the ball was half white and half black to decide who's turn it was to kick.

And my one had a button behind the player, rather than pressing his head.

Re: Fave Board Games From olden days of yaw
Maybe I had normal Striker then, coz I only remember there being 2 outfield players on each side, plus a goalkeeper. Only one of the players on each team was able to chip the ball coz his foot was shaped like a scoop, the other one had to kick the ball along the ground.Originally posted by Herr Grunwald View PostI had normal striker then super striker.
