Think it may have been called Cup Final.

Yes!! That's it!! It took a while to think what the name of it was, but it didn't take long for you to find a pic of it. Thanks so much for that.

Alley Cats was my favourite board game growing up. Run around the board searching dustbins for fish, escaping the dogs, then make it all the way home.
              Smashing fun.

I loved the game Sorry ! It's a game similar to Ludo, but far more competative - you need to be devious You can still get it today, but the board was more substantial back then, not just folded cardboard.

                              I always loved playing
                              Risk
                              Escape from atlantis
                              Uno

and monopoly, although my sister and I were too young initially to be bothered to read and understand the instructions so we spent some months playing exactly how we wanted

I also won a game called big money, but can only remember it had big gold coins, about the size of a wagon wheel but twice as thick anyone know it?
Re.cluedo.The Telegraph reports (15 august) that the old format from the 1950s will be scrapped ie. the characters and the very English country house.Pretty much the whole enjoyment of the game being transported into an Agatha Christie novel from the 1950s,i would have thought.Well I have seen the new character cards (six chavs) and the house will be something like Rooney Towers eg. the Billiard Room will be replaced by a Spa.I think they have got some work experience kid on the redesign of this one.Or am I out of touch with modern tastes? Is Rooney Towers and a house party of chavs more fun than the starchy characters and Old Vicarage from the 1950s?
