Does anyone know what really happened to HeroQuest? Why it was so hard to find this game to purchaseż

I believe it only had a limited run and was also hard to find simply because it was so popular. It was a collaboration between Games Workshop and MB Games and anyone who is familar with Games Workshop knows they have a really irritating habit of bringing out really amazing games and then getting rid of them the second they gain popularity. (See - The Silver Tower... now going for hundreds on Ebay, or the years that passed between versions of Blood Bowl, Space Hulk etc)
Anyway... it's coming back! The HeroQuest remake is coming to retail, you can pre-order now - Polygon
Give it a couple of weeks and it will probably disappear off the face of the earth again, mind.
