I guess that Battlezone never got a Vectrex version because it was a proper 3D game unlike Pole Position (or Hyperchase on the Vectrex) which sort of faked it.

Yep, I think you've hit the nail with that Wil. All the 3d is faked with the Vectrex games, so they would never have played the same...
