I played Jet Set Willy before Manic Miner (so I got them in the wrong order), but both were enjoyable enough games. I think I even completed MM. I know I never finished JSW though.

jsw was a very hard game.
there must be hunreds of rooms and collecting every item must be near impossible.

there was a cheat you could do to get infinite lives.

I have recently aquired a 48k Spectrum. I will have to have a go at playing Manic Miner on it - I had (and still have) Manic Miner on the Dragon 32 as a kid.
