just bought another SNES off ebay today, as well as a ton of games.
it was £60 in good condition (no yellowing), with Starwing.
and also bought:
Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose
Mortal Kombat 2
Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Street Racer
Super Mario Kart
Donkey Kong Country
Mario All Stars + Super Mario World
Super Star Wars
Super Empire Strikes Back
Super Return of the Jedi
Pilotwings
Equinox
what are everyone's favourite games on the SNES, also any recommendations?
and what's Equinox like, its the only one i've not played out of these?
I've never played Equinox but it's prequel on the NES (Solstice) was fantastic. If Equinox is anything like that it would be well worth playing.
Since I bought my US NTSC I've never went back to my UK SNES, 16bit gaming in PAL is horrendous. Here's a few SNES must haves:
Actraiser
Lemmings
Castlevania 4
Contra 3/Super Probotector
Super Aleste
R Type 3
Dino City
Rock and Roll Racing
Parodius
Super Streetfighter
On the Ball
Smash TV
Final Fight. There are plenty more but those on that list go for reasonable prices. Can't believe the price people want for Zelda 3. Fair enough if it was rare but it's pretty common, all the Nintendo produced games sold like hot cakes.
a new shop has opened up in my high street, and they do retro stuff, i picked up Donkey Kong Country 2 for £16
they also have DKC3, which i'll buy at some point too, plus my cousin has a copy of Zelda: A Link to the Past lying around that he is going to sell to me for £15, pretty great considering it goes for about £50 online
after all this talk bout mario i managed to get a emulator app for my tablet which is in the play store for free so any off you on a tablet go to store and have fun
plays this game hard on keys but great fun
yeah that was the most well hidden one, 'Butter Bridge' wasn't it, leading to Soda Lake.
there was also that Chocolate Island level where you had to beat certain times or something to get different screens to appear to find all the exits.
@Darren - the 2nd Donut Plains Ghost House has a secret exit right at the start, you need to fly up with a cape, and the exit will take you to the level called 'Top Secret Area'
lol daz yea when level opens if it red then theres 2 exits lol just finding them i took ages one level after trying every thing be4 time runs out i fount out you after fly under ther goal to get to the 2nd exit now that was tuff have to time it right so u land on ledge lol hard stuff that was

Maybe.
For me it's a toss up between SNES Super Mario World & NES Super Mario 3.
But if I had to choose, I would probably end up agreeing with you mate.
