Blitz

Does anyone remember the game Blitz on the Spectrum 128k, it was a game which involved bombing a city by pressing space bar to release your bombs and you had to clear the city by the time the plane got to the ground. Very limited graphics but hours of fun.....

yeah i remember it on the speccy, i recently downloaded a spectrum emulator program , i'll have to hunt this out for it

in herberts dummy run there is a mini game of blitz, but i cant remember how to activate it (its 20 years since i last played it, damn brain cells!)

I think it was one of those games that was easy to program - so many variants came out. Jeff Minter (of Llamasoft fame) got in real trouble when he release a version of the game that made reference to the Falklands conflict - and Argentina. Whoops! (Read about it here)
