Space Raiders vs Space Invaders

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Space Raiders and Space Invaders? I remember playing Space Raiders on my ZX Spectrum but from what I've read on other sites it sounds exactly the same as Space Invaders.

im sure it was although 'Star Raiders' was a different game, had it on my old Atari 2600 and it was one of the first Games to use Ataris Video Touchpad..cost about £40 for the game and touchpad about 1983 or so!! eek! loved my old Atari...

Okies bud, the only Atari I had was int he tv plug in one, the best game was Pac-man, and Defender.
