Target: Renegade on the Spectrum... That's a game which sticks in my mind from I guess about 87 - 88. It was kind of a Double Dragon type beat-em-up but I loved it.

Incredible moves such as flying kicks and the old Grab-opponent, then knee him a couple of times and chuck him over your shoulder. Cutting edge stuff back then!

I think the idea was to rescue your girlfriend from Mr Big. I did finish the game once, it was really tough, and boy was my heart pounding as I killed Mr Big!

And still on the subject of speccy games. Does anyone remember the game "Oh Mummy" which came in the ZX Spectrum +2 bundle? That was so addictive, so much that even my parents got hooked and I had to fight to play the computer that they had just bought me!

Was this the game that had the amusing yet deadly ankle-punch move?

I had target renegade for the Amstrad 464, it was awkward to play cause you moved the guy with your joystick but had to kick and punch using the keyboard !
Oh mummy was in the pack of free games I got with my Amstrad, it was class, simple but class !

I liked the music in Target Renegade and the fact you could jump up and kick the baddies off their motorbikes.
