What is this mid 90's computer game called?

hey i havent played this game in over ten years..i was wondering though..if any1 knew the name of this game...i'll try and describe it the best i can.......


you start out outside of this house...to get in you have to look for a key..you type in where you think the key is hidden..once you guess the correct answer your character will walk up to the door...while in the house your looking for your friend/sibling that has been held captive by the living dead...you have to search for clues to find him while trying to stay alive yourself..

if any1 knows the name of this game plz tell me...
