Does anyone remember a (Marvel?) comic strip about a superhero character called Man-God? I'm sure it was one of the strips in the Planet of the Apes comic in the 1970s but cant find any reference to him. Equally, does anyone recall (maybe from the same sourse) a comic strip with a supervillain whose head was an opaque glass globe which, when he was in danger, detatched itself and escaped on legs since he was an alien (shades of The Thing, I know, but this was well before that). These are just two odd memories from my early teens that recently came back to me, I'm sure it's not just imagination. Thanks!
