I had this toy but the name is eluding me right now. It was a spaceship that made noises - when you tilted it up it made an accelerating noise and when you tilted it down it made a decelerating noise. The front came off as a separate ship and the tail came apart as missiles. It was white with orange stripes. There was an enemy ship that was black and if you had them both you could fire at each other and one ship would detect whether it had been hit and make a crashing noise.
My mind is saying they were called Cosmic Avenger and Cosmic Intruder but searching for those just comes up with some video games.
