    Back again, and earlier still were the FRIDO Footballs.....these were lighter and would bounce all other the place. They were prone to bursting A LOT and that is why the manufacturers sold repair strips similar to inner tube strips. They would last maybe a week or two before the hot knife would come out to repair it. The balls would deflate to a tiny size and be like a rock. Ahhh Frido the ball of choice for the street dogs
    Some pictures below....the ones we played with were BROWN.

      Rugged and hard wearing it says.
      Does not seem so as it bursts a lot.

      They made a fortune from repairs.:d

      cant say ive heard of them.

      When where they about.

            Yes I know it looks old in ad, but these balls were being used if we couldn't get/afford wembley trophies in the 70's.
            Brown usually.
