Does anyone else remember the yo-yo craze in the 80s? It was huge where I grew up, everyone had one! They were sort of chunky plastic yo-yos in cool colours with glitter...They eventually banned them at our school for being too distracting and too dangerous..

I was thinking about yo yo's the other day. I remember the coca cola, sprite and fanta ones. I think you had to collect the ring pulls to get one. Does any one remember the tricks? Walking the dog, around the world..........any more?

The Yo Yo craze seems somewhat cyclical. For me the Yo Yo craze was back when I was in elementary school around 1975.

Omg they banned Yo-Yo's at my school too! Everyone had one after some Yo Yo guy did a performance at our school and told everyone to keep practicing and follow their dreams haha!

i was awful using them no matter how hard i tried.

I JUST COLLECTED THEM THERE WHERE SO MANY IT SEEMED AT ONE TIME EVERYBODY HAD AT LEAST ONE.
