Need help finding army toy cars I remember as a kid

I'm trying to find a couple of army toy cars I had as a kid in the 90s. They were about the size of a matchbox car, but plastic. One was a truck with an open back where you could place soldiers that looked like the traditional army men, but much smaller. There was also a cannon on the back of the truck that fired a projectile.

The other vehicle was a dune buggy type car that you could place a sitting soldier in the front seat. I think it also had a cannon on the back. I can't remember if they were part of a set of a well known brand or it's possible they were a couple of cheap market toys.

If either of these sound familiar to anyone let me know.

I’d google images and find the names / model then try searching online plus eBay and Amazon..

I've gone through google images, trying various search terms, but nothing familiar is coming up.

No, it wasn't micro machines. They were bigger than micro machines, more matchbox size.
