Now the question is should I be greedy and bag two, or do you still want him

Yes, she said in an email, his sleepy eye's work well, he has lovely long eye lashes, no marks,or stains anywhere on his hands, body or face, and his fur is perfect no balding!!
Her Grandaughter is only 14 months old and has shown no interest in him, so as a thank you I will send something more age appropiate, apparently she loves "The Gruffalo" so something along those lines
It's a shame we are so quick to throw broken toys away, as your link say's they are almost always repairable.

He can be restored to almost new I reckon.
Amazing what people can do. I've seen guitars with the neck completely smashed off and splintered be restored so you could not even tell they had been damaged. the photo of him looks great,so only repair is the voice box

Wow, it says no problem turned away, worth getting a quote me thinks
If I cant find a closer one, I could post him?? and pay all return costs??
Thanks something to think about!! no Chimp his age will be perfect, even if I found another, and as he's costing me nothing, all the more to spend on getting him fit.
Though I will be sending the lady's Grandaugher something to say thanks.

Any ideas where I'd need to take the voice box, for restoration, only the lady say's he's a little shakey at times?? She suggested a toy hospital or toy museum? Any ideas?

Can't say that I can say the same about Stoke - there is nothing wrong with the place and the people here are the friendliest you could ever wish to meet..... but I can't say that I wouldn't like a nice place near the sea
