Star Wars figures as football teams

Did anyone else used to use their Star Wars figures as footballers? I remember creating all sorts of teams with them and having matches and even a league. I used to go with countries, rather than areas.

I also used to make goal posts out of Lego and combine it with some of the Subbuteo extras. Particularly the scoreboard and pitch layout.

I remember my brother recreating the Live Aid stage with them.

Lol So I wasn't the only one that did something different with them then? Cool. Never thought of doing that though.

Do you remember which character represented which singer?
