Whats better?
Old school Transformers or the new Energon lines?

i'll start, The old school can never be replaced, Im sure all the Energon **** is lovely but I prefer the retro stuff ANYDAY!

Well for me it all hinges on whether or not the Energon series includes the transformer that turns in to a tape recorder! I mean... come on... a tape recorder... seriously...

i must admit, i didnt watch transformers much.....would like to now though but not the new one.....its like the teenage mutant hero turtles...what they show now is just not a patch on the 80's series

having been commander of the autobots for many eons and having been through many changes in my life (dark ages, original, beast, armada, RID, energon and now galaxy force. i would have to say i prefered my original mode

It seems unanimous ... old school!

Star-scream was my fave transformer, closely followed by that one that turned into a panther or sommat - he was a Decepticon .. might have been a Minicon

The tape player guy was called Soundwave

The panther was called Ravage.

And the tape recorder - Soundwave - was easily the best Transformer of all!

Add another vote for old school Transformers although I was a big fan of the Beast Wars series, watched it every weekend on channel 5!
