I remember the ads, but I don't recall ever seeing them in my local shops.
Was Godalming and Guildford that backward? Quite possibly.
(Pretty much the same with the Major Matt Mason line. Except with that when I did see some of the "action" features and accessories, I was sorely disappointed. Same with the Zeroids?)"It's never too late to have a happy childhood." -

Oh boy, do I remember the Zeroids
My first was the grey Zintar and then I had to wait a whole year for the blue Zerak (the destroyer!). They came in fantastic plastic boxes that doubled as an accessory and were powered by Ideal's little square Motorific motors! I never did get the bronze Zobor and never even saw the weird green one (that's in grey up above) until just a few years back.
The fate of my cherished Zeroids definitely falls into the classic category of 'mum got rid of them at some point' and if I were to want a good condition one now I'd have to dig deep (but I still do want them). Why can't the older me find a time machine and go back and warn the 7 year old me to look after those things?!Comment
