Help with a robot name!!

My husband is trying to remember the name of a toy robot he had as a kiddy.
It had 6 or 8 wheel and a control panal on top. You could tell it through this control panal how far to go and which way to turn!! It was mainly white.

Are you talking about Bigtrack? I remember that was an ultra-cool toy when I was a nipper. Not what you would call a robot - more a kind of buggy with a control panel on top. You programmed it to 'go forward 2 metres' then 'turn left 90 degrees' and so on. Very cool in those days

I might be getting my toys mixed but I seem to remember a kid in the advert sending his dad a cup of tea with it or somthing...?

My mate Doug had one of these and the German Officer Action Man used to ride it while conquering the Low Countries!! it was cool..Gran told me she couldnt afford it so that was that..lol.good toy though..

Yep, I was jealous because my mate Robbie had one, awwwwwwww. Thogh he lived in this massive house, huge garden we used to race round on hand built go-karts, do kids today build there own anymore?
