Brabo bendable figures

Anyone know the name of these?

They were somewhat playmobil like, but bendable (no, not Play-Bigs).
I had them in the late '70s; I had astronauts, police officers, ...
Half a year ago I saw a MOC example (an Indian I believe) it was called "bendy buddy" or "flexy pal" or something...
