All this Action Man talk reminds me of a guy who I knew as a kid who could be a right little git with other people's toys. One day I was playing in my mate's garden with this other fella who decided to climb up into a tree with my Action Men, strip them all naked and drop them with uncanny precision into a dog turd which my mate's dog had laid right under the tree. One of my Action Men which met this stinky demise was the villainous Doctor X baddie, to this day I can still picture the brown smear on top of his round, bald head. I really hated that kid.
Do dressing-up clothes count as toys? My brother and I had full cowboy outfits; trousers and tops with the braided frills, hats, holsters, the lot. Many, many hours of fun were had running around in these costumes. I have a pic somewhere!
I was only thinking recently, I bet little boys don't play cowboys and indians anymore and I wonder when and if this died out.
I mentioned to my 9 year old son a while back about how we used to dress up he thought it was hilarious.Kids today have far to much choice of things to do.

It's in interesting point. Certainly in the fourteen years I've being doing my school job, very often with infant age children, I've never come across any of them playing cowboys and indians. Probably partly a television thing. When I was growing up, Bonanza and The Virginian were peak time shows!
Although there's only five official variations, you'll count six on the above photo as one is the mythical all white Dinky Eagle which, as most of you will know was never available

My Brother had the bottom left one, I had the top right one.
As a kid it bugged me that the colours weren't true to the series.
