Help with a toy name.

Hey guys I'm new here and have been wracking my brain to remember the name of a set of toys I had when I was little.
They were from the 90s, were these Heroes/Monsters that stood on a tall, hollow base. Around the base were the characters stats and inside the base were these mini skull trophies (tons of them, very easy to lose). The game was that you and a friend or two rolled the base and compared the stats that came up, the higher number won. The eventual victor got one of his opponents skull trophies to display on his heroes base.

This has been torturing me for days now, and no-one I speak to seems to remember them.

Please help!!!

That sounds like it could be Hero Gladiators.

I got one once through a free offer with the News of the World, I think (one of those where you take a voucher to a shop - in this case Woolworths - and they give you a free one), but unfortunately I lost it.
