    Alcoholism probably killed Rik Mayall, too - years of heavy duty boozing led to narrowed coronary arteries and, ultimately, a fatal blockage.

    died very young she did such a talented actress from what i heard she was drunk on set or at least had the smell of it on her during filming and not sure if it was real alcoholic drinks they drank in the show.

    i did hear she performed better after a drink.

    but her and the hubby where a great teamso funny.

    I did not know she was an alcoholic, but she certainly had "the look". Such a shame, but many show business people unfortunately do suffer from and indulge in substance abuse. They need to gear up to performing (many suffer sever stage fright) then they have to come down to earth again... Sadly alcohol meets both needs.
