Funny thing is the Munsters thought it was Marilyn who was the strange one lol
Far better than the Adams Family I reckon
A series in colour was made later but I reckon the original monochrome's were bettersigpic

The pilot episode was made in colour.The rest of the series was B&W.
The colour series you are thinking of would probably be that awful remake with John Schuck (or whatever his name was).
There was a new Munsters show made a couple of years ago but not as good as the original .At least,not according to my American friend who watched it.
Nobody could play Hermie baby like Fred did,anyhow.
