Does anyone know much about the actress, Michelle Gallagher, who played George in the 1970s TV series of 'The Famous Five'? All I know is that she got involved in drugs, crashed her motorbike, which left her in a wheelchair. Sadly, this eventually led to suicide. She had one son. I would be interested to find out more about her life, but there doesn't seem to be much information about her and what happened to her after the series, why she became involved in drugs, went off the rails, her personal life. Not even the other cast members give much away about her life when the series ended and their relationships with her. It's so sad she's kind of forgotten. It would be nice to know the circumstances behind this tragedy and the waste of a very talented actress who had a great career ahead of her.
