    Football PR Eric "Monster, Monster" Eric Hall (who sadly died recently) was also a cigar smoker.

    I mentioned on the Des O'Connor obituary thread that both he and Russ Abbot had appeared in a Castella cigar advert back in 1990 (the one where Abbot puts a Des record on and puts the speaker into the pond to catch fish, which leap out of the water and into the net). Whether Des and Russ were both cigar smokers is anyone's guess however...

    Incidentally I read somewhere that Clint Eastwood actually HATED those cheroots in those films.
