I looooooooooove old adverts, have lots of old faves. One in particular that comes to mind is one for McVities chocolate homewheat biscuits. The children in the advert hid the biscuits around their house and they played 'hide and seek' with them. I copied them and hid one behind the sofa cushion and forgot to tell people to join in. Nan sat down, the chocolate melted and made a bit of a mess.
No harmm done though. I made more of a mess with a bottle of talcum powder and a toy hoover in the living room by copying the Shake N Vac woman.
Adverts had more of a bad influence on me than the programmes did.
I also remember one for Lyons Maid Ice Cream, very lurid, bright colours, precotious stage-school brats leaping around. And one for Fun Size confectionary from the Mars corporation.- Rik Mayall Fanpage On Facebook
