I really liked these and have been looking for them for a while, but can't find them anywhere on YouTube or video recordings!! I wondered if anyone else remembered them ...
One ad involved a family who decided to visit their Grandpa on his birthday but he wasn't answering their calls. They drove from house to house picking up various members of the family and go over to see him ... but walked in on him doing his ironing in the nude! the ad was for BT's answering service, the idea being that if he'd had it he would have known they were coming and this wouldn't have happened
Another ad had a child who finds his Dad's guitar and the dad reminisces about his days in a rock band (with embarrassing flashback) so he uses BT's call plans to ring all his old bandmates and get them together again
These were probably 1997-1999ish. I think the "guitar" one might have been part of the ET campaign which began in 1998
