Film about talking dolphins???!!!

The only things I remember about this film is that two dolphins, called Alpha and Beta I think, belonged to a guy who taught them to speak somehow but some other people wanted to take them away from him. Near the end one of the dolphins said 'I love you, daddy' and I totally blubbed for ages!

Anyone know the title?
