Re: Favourite James Bond Films
I LOVE THAT ONE.
I LIKED ROGER FOR THE COMEDIC ASPECT TOO.
BUT THOUGHT HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN HIS TIME AS BOND.
Moonraker was intended by its creator IAN FLEMING to become a film even before he completed the NOVEL in 1954, since he based it on a screenplay manuscript he had written even earlier. The film's producers had originally intended to film For Your Eyes Only, but instead chose this title due to the rise of the science fiction genre in the wake of the STAR WARS phenomenon. Budgetary issues caused the film to be primarily shot in France, with locations also in Italy, Brazil, GUATEMALA and the United States. The soundstages ofPinewood Studios in England, traditionally used for the series, were only used by the special effects team.

I know it comes pretty low on people's list of favourite Bond movies. The story might be OTT but the quips in that movie are fantastic.

Re: Favourite James Bond Films
The Craig films have been great (QoS excepted), they have stripped Bond to his original essence. I hate people who bemoan no gadgets and OTT villains, yet profess to be Bond fans. Real Bond fans welcome a return to Fleming's original agent.Originally posted by xmark1234 View Postlove skyfall

Re: Favourite James Bond Films
Many true Bond fans, inc myself, love OHMSS, and regard it still as the best of all. Lazenby is actually quite good. No other Bond imo would have pulled off that last scene.Originally posted by Shado66 View PostCall me weird, but I actually love, On her Majesty's secret Service.
Its so 60's and cool....great stunts and locations....Piz Gloria etc.
Telly Savalas a great Blofeld and Diana Rig is sexy but no airhead.
Lazenby is no actor but he looks the part and actually looks like he can handle himself.
The best bond for me is still Connery though......sorry Roger et al.
