  • And Soon The Darkness

Not the awful 2010 remake but the 1970 original. It was and remains one of my favourite films of the era.

This has always been one of my favourite films. It was filmed in and around Orleans in France, while the ending with all the caravans was filmed in a back lot at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.

It's a very atmospheric film never really letting the viewer relax. Great film making and something modern directors could learn from.
