I saw Grease the Musical on my birthday last year (I went to Milton Keynes Theatre so I could see it on my birthday - that was where they were on that day). Such a talent by the cast that even Travolta would have been proud of! Cue Danielle Hope doing You're The One That I Want while wearing Lycra that most cyclists would have been envious of!

They might want to make a new film for the anniversary, but it's always the problem when they do that as it will obvious draws comparisons with the original, and most people will still remain faithful to the original. If it ain't broke...

    started a topic Grease re-union/annioversery

    Grease re-union/annioversery

It was either in yesterday's paper (Or Todays) but without seeking out yesterday's I am 100% it was Yesterday's - that John Travolta and Oliver Newton John are planning something for it's 40th Anniversery

My Mum loves Dirty Dancing as I do as well, and both that and Grease have extrodinary singing in it - but John was such a style icon in the Leather JJacket and White T-hirt - he just enhanced the "James Dean look" totasly beyond words in my opinion! What can be said about Oliva Newton-John - par what an awesome Diva she truly was back in the day and easily has to be one of Australia's best export's singing-wise!! I can't wait for June for this now!!

Apologies in advance to Heather, HG, Big Daddy if I had put this thread in the wrong catergory - but I thought given what it is - it was more apropriate here I thought, evben though it is a "new Grease/a new Film"
