Anyone seen this old film The Galloping Major was shown on Talking Pictures TV.

About a retired British Major who gets his local village to club together to buy a certain racehorse but he buys the wrong horse by mistake.

I watch talking pictures channel a lot but this one must have escaped me, watched Hobsons choice(again) just last week....another worthwhile watch

Yes good film the old boy from Carnation Street Jack Howarth { Albert Tatlock} had a part in Hobsons Choice.

....Coronation ......yes Jack howarth was one of Hobsons cobblers, the film was made around my home town Salford
