Why would there be a fourth in a trilogy

Because the author wrote three books which were turned into films, made and released. Then the author decided upon a fourth book but sadly died when the book was only in completed notes stage. So, therefore three films were made, based on the trilogy of books completed. But, if the fourth is written by another author, and Robert Ludlum's estate has granted permission, then a fourth will be attempted and it will no longer be a trilogy of books/films.

As for taste, I suppose its each to his own, Pedro. My wife loves films I would never watch in a zillion years.

That is my next big splurge. I want all the dvd box sets:

The Bourne Trilogy
Die Hard (4)
Indiana Jones (3 going on 4)

Not really one for films like these but these three were superb. Hopefully, although author Robert Ludlum is sadly dead, there may be a fourth. I hope so. I won't give any spoilers but if you have seen the first two, the third really does grab you!
