E.T....Thats the one that really sprang to mind. My whole family cried when we went to see it in 1982. Still makes me cry so I don't watch it too often. Feels more special when I do watch it now and again.

The Land Before Time makes me cry when Littlefoots Mummy dies. I also think Love Story is a good tear jerker.

Another vote for The Elephant Man. It's the only film that has brought me to tears (only a few tears of course, I am a bloke...)

I'm a little surprised this hasn't been said yet, but for me it's Watership Down. Every time they started playing Bright Eyes it was like Niagara Falls.

They made us watch Watership Down at primary school, it was supposed to be a treat on the last day of term but it left me feeling unbelievably depressed

E.T. got me too, I watched it when I slept over at a friends house and I had to keep going to the bathroom for a secret blub!

Oh, that's harsh lol... I didn't even bother watching the first one, it still depresses me now. I can cope with the second one though

The Railway Children from 1970 made me cry as Bobby says.........."Daddy, My Daddy!" on the station platform..........it makes me cry every time........always have a tissue hidden up my sleeve lol
