my favourite film of the 80s...well of all time for me has to be LABYRINTH!

Yep thats me shouting it! Love it soooo much!

I also loved heathers (not sure if that was 80s), breakfast club, ferris day off, lost boys, dirty dancing, gremlins, ghostbusters, goonies, wargames

oh and dont laugh...whos that girl!

Thats how good the 80s was. I cant really sit and watch films cos i get bored but 80s films kept me sit down!

Oh and i really liked that bond film with grace jones in it. She is soo cool and freaky!

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

            "Nighthawks"
Starring Sylvester Stallone, Rutger Hauer and Lindsey Wagner (Remember her?)

A roller coaster thriller and, IMHO, Sly's finest film.
I go back to the original Jethro Tull - Yes! The seed drill inventor!

I remember that. Cable car climax? Rudger: great. Didn't he play a proffessor/turned terrorist? Who was Sly's partner?
Hauer(sp-check later) eighties legend. Does he have a thread?

Slys partner, Sgt Fox, was played by Billy Dee Williams.
Rutger Hauer played a jobbing terrorist called "Wolfgar"
His partner, Shakka, was played by Persis Khambatta who also starred in the first Star Trek film.
I have it on DVD but they've mucked about with the soundtrack.
Still a great film though especially the part in the NY Cable Car

i forgot about Empire Strikes Back and Return of The Jedi being 80s films, since when i think of Star Wars i think of the 6 films as a whole and not the years they came out.
