      Fatal Attraction
      Betty Blue
      Local Hero
      Risky Business
      The Cook The Thief His Wife and Her Lover
      Eraserhead
      Sex Lies and Videotape
      The World According To Garp

      Loving the Brat Pack films already listed, also Bladerunner and Empire Strikes Back and Gregory's Girl

            This is really difficult as the 80's was a golden age for films and I dont think we realised how spoilt for choice we were. I have seen just about every film that has been mentioned but if I had to pick one it will be the Goonies. Still watch it now and have the uncut version on DVD that includes the octopus scene that was cut but still gets mentioned


            just a note ..... I would have put Star Wars (episode IV) but technically its a 70's film
            Age is just a number - If yours bothers you stop counting

              can't believe i forgot Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade, brilliant film, love the original trilogy but that's my fave of the 3.

                world according to garp is very funny with robin williams reminds me of him in mork and mindy.

                  90% of the 80s films was great i think but theres so many
                  love films can sit and watch a selection from when get up till when go bed if i could that is
                  prob start off with back to the future

                      zombie flesh eaters

                            BBC 2 "screen 2" series of films were good, Space station Milyon keynes is a one that I saw once, maybe twice and though I have hardly any recollection of it now, just the name sets me back. I'd love to see some of those British 80's films and dramas again to see how they;ve aged and what reaction they'd get from a younder audience. One summer (entire thing now on youtube), Jonny Jarvis etc
