Movie title, help please

[Marine Boy]

In the seventies, a friend won tickets to go to a preview cinema in London and watch a new sci-fi film. I went along too. My memory is VERY sketchy:

An android or cyborg-type creature.
Did he land on Earth in a spaceship?
Could it have been Richard Keil?
Quite a 'B' movie feel to it, but very colourful and action-packed.

I've Googled some of these things but the film I'm thinking of doesn't come up.

I think this could be it. It's so difficult to tell unless I see bits of the movie that I actually recognise, and that wasn't the case with this YT extract. One of the comments says it's from 1979, when I would have been about 17. I'd imagined I was about 14 or 15.

But yes, this could be it and the title sounds sort of familiar. I'll research that title and see.

I remember seeing it,It starred Richard Kiel and as was mentioned I don't think it was that good.
