Scary Bully

How do.
Do you remember a high school movie, 80s I guess, where this guy accidently upsets a bully, who says he's gonna have to fight him at the end of the day.
The bully is big, intense and has mid-length dark hair.
I remember the tension and fear building as the clock ticks and our guy tries everything to get out of it.
At one point he tries to engineer a confrontation between the bully and another tough lad, to try and get rid of the bully, but it goes badly wrong when the bully snaps the tough lad's arm!
I remember being abit shocked by this!
Anyone know?

I don't think so, but I'd like to see that.
The bit where he gets another lad involved is just one of his desperate tactics, not the main thrust of the movie.

I am so glad you mentioned "My Bodyguard." I saw it about a year ago. It's a really good movie. You have any other descriptions/details of the movie you are looking for?

The ticking clock reference makes me think this might be "Three O'clock High", a high school take on "High Noon".

Yes, that's it! Definately.

Watched some clips, and it turns out he doesn't snap his arm, just a finger or two before flooring him.
Must be desensitised. Seemed worse when I was younger.

They probably wanted to call it High School Noon, except they finish at three!
