Australian children's film from early 80s. About a boy and a girl living with their mother on one of those isolated beaches on the west coast. Dont remember a father. Only other thing I can remember is a pelican.

Could this be Storm Boy

A 10-year-old boy (Greg Rowe), living with his father in the wild Coorong wetlands of South Australia, rescues a baby pelican orphaned by hunters. With the help of an Aboriginal man, Fingerbone Bill (David Gulpilil), the boy and the bird become inseparable, until the outside world encroaches.

I dont remember an Aboriginal man in it. Sure it was mother, boy and girl and Western Australia. Small jetty with pelican on it.

Hmmm. Only movie I can think of is Storm Boy too but that was made in 1976. Can find anything that was made in WA and I am from WA.
