The problem (well problem to some maybe) with the recent cff bfi movie releases is that there is no reason why they cant put 6 films on each release with a 2pk dvd maybe, also there is normally one naff film thats put in with 2 decent ones. While its nice to look back at the black and white ones, i prefer the glitterball and electric eskimo era.

Hi, I was wondering if you would know if your N° 27 Hijack! (1975) is available in a format that I could watch? I was Jenny in the film and would love to see it. Sadly, in my research I see that James (one of the other children in the film) who became a Sky reporter committed suicide about 10 years ago. God, I remember James Forlong, I had no idea of the tragic death until now. I thought he had just moved on.

I am trying to get a copy of 'One Hour to Zero' from CFF for a friend who lived near Trawnsfyndd at the time it was made and saw it at the local cinema, 'The Coliseum' in Porthmadog. It was shown to the locals because so many were in it! How did you get hold of your copy? Thanks. Glen

New Childrens Film foundation DVD released 23 September: Scary Stories Vol 4. Includes: The Man From Nowhere (1975), Haunters Of The Deep (1984) and Out Of The Darkness (1985). Next dvd is Vol 5 - Runaways released April 2014. I believe Terry On The Fence will be on that one.

I pride myself in having a 1st class organic database of useless nostalgic factoids between my ears but I cannot remember ANY of these CFF films, and I am a child of the sixties! Apart from their brief place of honour on Screen Test I never came across them anywhere else. Does anybody else feel as if they've had their brain zapped by the men in black??
