Dolls House Horror film

Does anyone rememer watching a film in the 80's about a couple who are trapped inside a house with all the windows blocked up and green goo oozing down the stairs. It was really hot inside the house and they could not escape. It turns out at the end that they are actually in a dolls house that is being stored in an airing cupboard and the green goo is a candy that has melted. My sister and I watched it late on a Saturday night in UK with our babysitter.
