Childrens tv progam late 90s/early 00s

I really hoping someone an help me with this coz its been driving me mad for ages.
I seem to remember a childrens program that i used to wacth early on a sunday morning before work with a hangover!
It was on either bbc2 or channel 4 and it was all puppets that where some sort of cleaning equipment like cloth, mops sponger ect...
As i say i was usualyl hungover watching it but i'm sure it was real!!

Here's a wild guess, could it have been Bug Alert. It's one of my favourite shows that aired between 1996 to 2000 on GMTV, and later got repeated on 'Channel 4'. The show featured a group of bug puppets who lived in a kitchen, so they could sometimes be seen using cleaning equipment. They were always surrounded by cleaning equipment (Mops, Sink, Buckets)

Used to love that prog, there was quite a lot of risqe adult referances too XD
