Ive been thinking about this TV series...back in the 90's i think it was,about this family that moved into a house and it was haunted by the ghost of a jewish woman, Mrs Feldman, i think her name was, and she couldnt rest till she found her daughter, Carole (refered to as Carol with an E).

Anyone know which one im on about and if so what was it called cus i cant remeber but i did enjoy it.

The Programme you're thinking of Spi was called "So Haunt Me".

The ghost was played by Miriam Karlin (or something like that) and was always accompanied by the smell of Chicken soup

It was shown on BBC1
